Default transmission help!!

hey i just got done unhooking everything from my friends 91 legacy turbo tranny to put in a new clutch. when we try to pry it apart from the engine it goes most of the way back but wont go all the way. it acts like its still held on to something or hitting something but everything is unhooked.any suggestions??

is the clutch fork loose, maybe there is a pivot pin for the fork like in the newer imprezas.

Pin there is a plug on the drivers side you take that out then you need to thread a bolt into the plug and pry it out.
