I declare shenanigans. You shouldn't be measuring boost in any gear below 3rd. And if you have TIME to watch your boost gauge in 1st gear, your car is slooooooow .

I don't believe for one second that you see 17 psi in 1st at 3500. I even find it quite hard to believe that you're seeing 17psi in 1st gear AT ALL, but a few factors determine that.

ive got next to no lag with my vf39 its almost emidiate once i hit the gas, my td04 had more lag somehow

Probably completely unrelated, but having a buddy watch my Accessport shows my evo3 16g maxing the AP's 18.3psi in first...

Relevant at all??
