So i have been reading around and i see that some people have done these lil guys WITHOUT pulling the motor completely out.
Just a few questions and i'd love any input you guys have 1. does that stress any of the cables, etc - as in what should i keep an eye out for? 2. anyone have a NON-Motor-Pulling DIY for it? 3. Floor jack okay or should i use an engine lift? Any other recommendations, heads-up, input is GREATLY appreciated. I am very nervous about doing this myself. I have very capable with cars but have never been that far into a motor before. Ive done my fair share of valve tuning and timing and such but never done 'in-the-motor' gaskets and cleaning. I know that my current gaskets are not in TOO BAD of shape, the oil is still perfect, and i just flushed the coolant system(some oil not bad tho), did a new thermostat and oil change and everything seems alright for now. She overheated a couple nights ago after i laid into her a bit but driving normally shes fine. I understand that the overheating issue is due to the HG's Thanks in advance and again folks!
