Default Went from Perrin to Stock Sti catback on 05 4EAT WRX -- Tune needed?

Reposting in this forum because I am not sure I posted in the correct forum previously.

I recently purchased a 2005 4EAT WRX with 83k miles on it.
The car came with the older model Perrin Catback on it.
I have no idea if it was tuned by the person who owned it before me.

I recently took off the Perrin catback and put on a stock 06 STi catback (since they are interchangeable).
I know that 05 models need tuning when you change the catback.

Here is the question...do I need to get a tune going back to the sti stock cat back (NOT the WRX)?

Or since it is from the factory, can I just leave it be?

Do I risk major engine problems by not getting a tune?

Other information: The car is my daily driver. I do not race, rally or do anything of the sort. I do like to gun it onto the highway, but other than that I dont beat on it at all. I spend at least 20 minutes a day in stop and go traffic.

As long as you have the stock downpipe, you do not need a tune.

I know that you say it's an 05, but please fill out your profile to avoid future confusion
