Hub dynos usually read a bit high. I'm not sure how Agile's is calibrated either. I made 313whp and 333ft/lb on a Dyno dynamics with a catless TBE, large maf intake and a 3port solenoid
i would guess around 315-330whp have fun, its a blast |

ive gone to Pittsburgh Raceway park several times, ill see ya there. Trap speed is definately what I'm more interested in. Anyone know how much higher hub dynos are compared to others? I just like the design, how they are more consistant for tuning.

I'd sell your exhaust before the protune and buy a non-catted exhaust. Regarless, you'll be happy with the car no matter. It gets really fun when you turn these cars up, they move for such a baby turbo.
I know of the endless horror stories of motor failures, but even missing my RAW 04, the 07 STi IMHO is the best STi made to date! Good luck on your numbers and enjoy the car ![]() -Mikey Last edited by STi Mikey; 03-23-2009 at 10:30 PM. |

Good luck with your numbers, will definetly be fun when Hill gets done tuning, trust me. As far as "dyno being a tad high" I would not worry I imagine it will be close to right on !!

Mikey - I'm probably only leaving a few hp on the table with a high flow cat. Are you stock turbo btw so i can compare my track times?

Uhhhh, yeah they do read high. But the real thing to focus on is how much better the car feels. Dyno numbers are just numbers. Who cares if your car reads 300+ at their shop and 270 anywhere else. Just enjoy the car for the before tune and after tune differences.
If you want to really know the difference, get it protuned there and then go and get your car baseline dyno'd some place else on a dynojet or mustang. |

so what if the dyno reads high? what matters is the gain before and after, like louie said. mine baselined really low, something like 275/275, so you be the judge...

does anyone know how agiles dyno compares to say ams of gaithersburg. i got tuned at ams with similar mods and made 318whp and 392 wtq on i think a dyno jet. numbers seemed pretty high to me but i wasnt sure if that was normal or what.

Yes, everyone knows Agile's dyno is a bit generous. My heatsoaked vf43 wrx made 304 whp in 100+ degree shop temps. Thats why I'm sayin the true tale of the tape is in trap speed. I trapped 107 after my tune and am hoping for around 110 with my RA's.
Regardless what numbers you end up with, you're paying for the tune and you won't find a better tuner. Enjoy. |

Naw....people only say that cause they get butt hurt when they're lower numbers don't stack up
![]() That being said, as everyone who has a brain in they're skull knows...its just a frikken number. I gained 40+hp and 60+trq from my baseline numbers to my current stage 2 protune |

I stopped quoting my Agile numbers when my car couldn't trap 300+whp times ![]() I'll quote my IAG numbers because it now traps consistant 300+whp times. I am not bashing or promoting any tuner or dyno, although I do have a basis of comparison (being that I've been protuned by both). It is just a number, but you have to have something to scale the improvments and modifications done to your car. The problem is that people wont pony up $100 to get a base line dyno before they start modifying their cars. I know that every dyno reads different, you would have some consistancy to say "My car dyno'd at 240whp stock on Agiles Dyno, then. It now dyno's 320whp." This would at least give you a control to compare your gains too. They typical post is more along the lines of "Oh wow I dyno'd 330whp". The sad reality is that its just a number. As long as Hills customers walk away with a better car than when they arrived, it was worth while. |

true true. i think as long as you put "tuned by Agile" next to the numbers, people understand its high. Im only tuned at 18psi on a street tune at the moment, i think I'll definitely walk away with a better car, and a better piece of mind.

what does that have to do with the OP? He is asking what his car would do on Agiles dyno. i have similar mods and posted up my graph so he can have a idea on what to expect.im not really worried what my trap speed would be. the change from cobbs stage 2 to Agiles tune is awesome. the car feels strong fast and just a diffrent car in general. Im happy with the tune and i think thats what matters the most.
