Default Need Your Help Sti V8 Problem!!!!

Hi ALL!!!!
I just completed a 2002 WRX AUTOMATIC conversion to STI V8 JDM engine and transmission.
THis is the the problem I have.

Whe the car is cold It will start and idle A ok.After driving it to a first stop sign when I stop the car idles BAD like it runs on 2-3 cyl. only. When I start to drive it from the stop light and go I can feel the car is hasitating and it is rough.
Once the car worms up it is LITTLE diferent.
Once I pul up to the light the car rpm will drop like they supose to and it will iddle rough BUT after 5-6 second the ecu will corect it and the car will iddle ok.
NOW if i take of the light hard and put the car -1-2-3 gear all the way to the red line there is this hasitation 6800-8000 RPM like there is bad timing,Not enough fuel or just no proper spark IT HAS A LACK OF POWER THAT YOU CAN FEEL IT!!!ALSO WHEN IM PULING FROM THE RED LIGHT BEFORE I PUT IT THROUGH 8000 RPM IT FEELS HESITANT AND WEAK.!!!!
NOW WHAT IS INTERESTING IF I TURN OF THE CAR AT THE RED LIGHT AND TURN IT BAKC ON, AND THE PUT IT THROUGH 1-2-3- ALL THE WAY TO 8000 RPM THE IT SEEMS LIKE NEW CAR NO HESITATION FROM STARTLINE AND NO PROBLEM IN TH 6800-8000 RPM range.
BUT AS SOON AS I PULL UP TO THE RED LIGHT THE SAME THING HAPPENS RUNS ROUGH CORECT IT SELF IN 5-6 SECONDS AND THE CAR RUNS LIKE *&*&^% AS DESCRIBED ABOWE.
As many local GURUS I ask I get as many answers.
1.fuel pump old
2. vacum leak
3.spark plugs adjusted incorectly
and so on.
PLEASE HELP!!!
Thank you in ADVANCE

Sounds an awful lot like the symptoms of a dirty maf (not sure if your year has one, but if you do, clean it).

Takew the rest of your brake cleaner and spray it around your hose/turbo/intercooler connections with the engine idling and see if it changes your idle at all (this will find vaccuum leaks).
