Default AVCS or Not???

Just a little back story on my build. Im using:

Crawford build shortblock
Perrin GT30R .82 Kit
Hydra 2.5 EMS

I have a friend that has a set of 272 crawford cams that Im trying to get off of him, but hes not sure he will part with them just yet. So my other option is a set of BC 272's. Now if I get them what is going to be the benefit of running AVCS? I will be running a Hydra, so Im trying to figure if it will be actually more benificial to fun AVCS for my setup or just to say hell with it and not. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Oh yeah this car is more for a spirited driver but it will see some road courses and track days. Again thanks for the help.

I would go with a really aggressive non-avcs cam if I could do it again. By the time you start running big cam's, you will realize that you can hardly run any AVCS to make it worth your wild. I find my self regretting (but loving) my cossi cams but wanting a more aggressive setup giving up a little bottom end/spool. IMO, my next build will be back to high-compression (9.5:1) with a really aggressive kelford/gsc/dpr cam for more fun and no trade-off (or at least less).
