I assure you, over the last 14 years I've heard damn near every hummer joke there is.



It is a very capable vehicle, but it has two serious flaws.

It's far too wide for BC trails. I've scraped the isht out of the sides getting her in and out of McNutt rd, and up in the hills of Mission/Maple Ridge.

The second problem is in the weight of the beast. Once it's in the mud, it's not coming out under it's own power.

Too Wide? Agreed, never did any gnarly mud but see your point.
And it just plain blows driving it on city streets/hwy.

The speed is the worst part about driving it on the street.
The NA 350ci diesel motor is a slug. 400+lbs of torque, and less than 180hp make for a boring road truck, but a great climber.

The handling is amazing though. Independant front and rear suspension combine with massive rubber, and tires at all four corners make for a truck that sticks like glue. And the turning radius is nice too. Overall, it's not a bad truck to drive. It's the fuel consumption that hurts. A lot.
