Default Updates on the new turbo

After encountering endless issues in this install, my FP Green is finally in and running strong. Huge thank you to Mark from Mark Jones Tuning for putting in a ton of work on the install and tuning, he did an awesome job.
The turbo spools faster than I was expecting for something this big on a 2.0, hit 20psi by ~4800 during the pulls on the road. The car pulls so much harder now than it did with my vf23. I can't wait to switch to e85, add some more timing, and up the boost a little . This crappy pump gas is really holding me back right now.

Heres the green next to the vf23

Also just ran it on the dyno today

Went pretty conservative on the timing and my bpv isn't holding boost anymore, I was only at 17 psi at peak power on that pull. The numbers will definitely be more impressive once I get it holding the boost.

I'll be having Mark tune my car for e85 probably in the next couple weeks then I'll take it to the dyno again, ill add the new chart to this thread once i get that done.

That thing will pull like crazy if the jump in power is similar to Brocs.

With E85 and more boost, you should see over 350 WHP no problem. Your WTQ will increase considerably also.

With that turbo he will be well over 350whp. My car made 336whp with the vf22 at only 22psi, so will easily break 350whp with the leaner tune and 25-26psi.

If the crushed stocker isnt working I would look for a Worx Tuning DS2. I am really happy with it. No sputtering with partial throttle lifting, holds great to 25psi so far, and easily adjustable from full recirc to full dump and everything in between. Plus you dont sound like an SRT4 when you shift. I hear it just a little more than I heard the stock recirculating valve even at full dump.

Not yet, but thats one of the next things up on my list. The stock block should hold out long enough for me to build one. If not then that just gives me more of a reason to put a new one in.

I'll be hitting up the track once I get it holding the boost and actually have a night off work to go.
