Default Knock Link VS J&S?

Does anyone know if there has been a comparison of a J&S setup Vs something more a long the lines of a a Knock Link and and ITC?

I've got the ITC and I thinking getting a Knockling would just be a whole lot cheaper then having something pull timing that I've already pulled. I know the Knock lInk won't pull the timing but it might be safer to have something showing me when its knocking plus there are cool LEDs on it

With a J&S, it will still pull timing, even it you already have it retarded.

With something like a knock link, you'll still have to watch it for knock and then tunig for that.

to me the knock link is bad...by the time you need it, it's already too late.

yeah that exactly what i was thinking....a J&S would retard after it sense knocking....with an ITC you can stop it before it happens....i am kindda confused on how it is possible to use an ITC and a J&S together...

i'm not really sure you can....the V2 J&S will eliminate the need for an ITC...read the info on the MSD 6BTM it works the same way as the new J&S V2 will.
