Default 2006 wrx stage 2 cobb had code P0255 today

My current mods are helix catless downpipe, cobb short ram intake, tanabe g blue catback and cobb 93 flash stage 2.

When boosing today at WOT I threw this code. The code said something about waste gate actuator performance or something. Any clue why this popped up and how can I avoid this from happening again?

Thanks

Rob

You mean P0244? It's an overboost CEL. What were you doing when it happened?

Yeah it was 0244, sorry...

I was showing a friend a 3rd to 4th pull shifting at 6000rpm and not shifting hard.

I did a few data logs after I cleared the code and it looks like when I shift at 6000rpm in 3rd and go into 4th i'm hitting 17.0 to 17.1 lbs of boost for a quick second if that and falls quickly. At that point i'm still not over boosting and throwing a code. What is the limit for the TD04 to be hitting boost cut and is this boost spike or creep? Current temps out side was 39 degrees .....
