cold air intake??

is it worth the purchase? I am planning intake and an exhaust right now is the cold air a good idea?

I don't expect 30hp but is it better than stock for mileage and hp to get intake.

Well, the initial intend did not, but yes, lots of stuff covered and yes stickies are largely ignored by most.

now this is when i was a little whipper snapper and owned a 04 2.5 wagon.
well they use a speed density metering devise for air flow well, i went out and purchased a cone filter removed all the plastic crap and install it directly on the throttle body like so and viola! its whistles just like a turbo would and gives you the deep tone of air being sucked in. but since then i wised up and spent a bit more money and now own a rex wagon

For what it's worth, my mapped equipped 2001 RS with just an injen CAI pushed it to a 15.005 1/4 mile time.

Worthwhile mod, yes. Can't remember if your motor is map based, I think it is. Read the sticky for pro's/con's.

on MAP based cars, it is indeed a worthwhile mod.
However, the 2002 OBS is not a MAP based car, if I recall correctly.
