sr55? 55lb? If so not very far...

800cc injectors on E and lean are good for around 325-350whp... LEAN...

1000cc injectors on E are good for 350-450whp depending on afr's...I do believe 450 would be @ or near 100 IDC @ 12-1 AFR's...

So...

Stock Light Blues - E - 225ish whp (Stock TD04 - < Stage 2 power)
550's - E - 225-250whp - (Stock TD04 Stage 2 power)
Dark blues ?? - E - 250whp ish (vf39ish area)
600cc - E - 250-275 (VF39-Small 16g)
700cc - E - 275-300 (Small 16g/vf34/vf22/big16g)
800cc - E - 300-325 (Big 16g to 18g)
1000cc - E - (Well I'm at 360ish and 89% IDC @ 11.5-1 afr) 400-450whp (18g*lots of boost - 3076 (anything between 40lb and 55lb turbo)

1200cc - E - 450-525whp (55lb turbo to 65lb turbo)
1600cc - E - 500-650whp (35r (65lb turbo) and bigger)

^^ All assuming a 11.5-1 AFR @ redline..

That help?

And the you should ALWAYS change your fuel filter 500-1000 miles after running straight E.. And one last time after another 2-5k miles. Leftover CRAP from **** gas will get flushed and caught in the fuel filter.. Why risk a lack of fuel for $10 and 20 min?

Conversion kits are junk and useless. Get a retune and bigger injectors/pump.

-jerod

And if I'm wrong on the blues/pink/dark blues - please show me your IDC vs MAF V at redline on E + those injectors...

Would be nice to have a little list setup (nicer than mine) to let people know what they need for what size of turbo...

IE Stock injectors = TD04 on less than 16lbs of boost...

I'm in search for some 900cc injectors for to run E85 on a TD06H 20g, i know Deatchwerks made a pair, and you can probably get them to make you a set if you ask...

Does anyone have some logs on fuel pressure, with a single walbro and a 44lb/min turbo or larger? I'm curious if 1 Walbro is enough...

It just won't happen until later. We're strapped for cash and need to refill the bottle. Everything is sorted and happy. We know it's our driving and not the car, and practice is what's missing.

Nothing is broken!

Not far enough...I'd go for some 1100cc/min and a AFPR to boot...

how much boost are you planning to run? most say 70ish on a walbro but some claim 75psi. your FPR will rise 1:1 with boost, so static pressure(pull vac line off and read pressure) i think its like 43? someone else chime in! static + psi from turbo = pressure needed.

stock is 43.5psi iirc..

It's looking like 1000cc injectors with stock base pressure is needed, or some 850cc's but i'd have to raise stock, quiet a bit.. there was a guy with an 08 sti td06h 20g, with 20psi he was at 97% idc..

boost wise... 18psi on 93, 23-24 on E85..

I think rob has a great idea on how to setup a dual walbro intake setup.

Im just gonna take a stab at this but..

you're feeding much smaller injectors... the injectors i would have would be flowing around 1000cc's a minute... it's goin to take more pump to keep the FP constant and up there, then it is on 740cc injectors....etc...

i think to be on the safeside im most likely going to go with a dual walbro intank setup.

What kind of MPG are you guys getting with e85? And tell what your driving style is when answering this and how heavily modified the car is. Looking to get tuned on e85, except i will be daily driving the car.

Here's my setup, and the results:

Evo III 16G
Turbo XS TMIC
Grimmspeed up-pipe
Tial 44 mm EWG (atmosphere dump)
Cobb TBE
DW 1000 cc injectors
Walbro 255 fuel pump
Grimmspeed 3 port solenoid
JDM TGV deletes
AVO turbo inlet
1 step colder plugs
Thermal wrap on up-pipe, downpipe.
Tune by Tim Bailey @ www.surgelinetuning.com

e-85 @ 20 psi netted 341 whp and 366 torque.
Smoot delivery, steady pull to redline (and rev limiter ).
I have other maps, and I run the 19 psi e-85 as my daily, since I have a station that gets 85% year round 5 minutes from my house. I got 12 MPG on my first session, which is just over my expectation. I got 18 MPG mixed driving to the coast which is all highway, but some parts are curvy so I did go over wastegate many, many times.

I am really liking the extra 20-30 hp and torque the fuel is netting me. The tune is about as much as I want to put on my stock drivetrain though. I am expecting to need to do the swap before too long.

I have a couple of the Dynamometer charts up on my profile.

Coming soon: 18g-8cm, 850cc, modded valve body and torque converter. Thinking i should be getting close to 11s?? Maybe? I dunno.

not with a stock FPR. its a 1:1 FPR, you wont get more pressure unless youre running an after market FPR or you crush the stocker to increase your static pressure.

Thank you for answering everyone and Nice. i am looking forward to getting tuned on E85 with either a HTA green or 68HTA. Not sure if i want to go big or small lol. I just make it over 22mpg with mainly highway on 93. I have a 04 sti thats a little past stage 2 but not a up'd turbo. Now i have another question, my friend told me E85 builds up a lot of carbon in the engine. That true? and if so are there any other negative side effects?

No e85 is a very clean burning fuel. You should go read the e85 fuel FAQ in the engine management and tuning section. The only negative side effects I can think of are the gas mileage and the fact that taking long trips requires more planning or the ability to switch back to 93 or something.

$2.00 per gallon negates the mileage issue for me, it works out to be nearly the same cost as better mileage at $3.05 per gallon for premium.
