Wont make it this year the STI is down for some TLC and and the engine might even be out during that time. Trying desperately to make the Shootout.

Sorry Matt!

Default Milwaukee Meetup

I'm going to try to go, depending on if I have to work that morning.

Anyone interested in meeting in the Milwaukee area before driving over? If the show starts at 11:00 AM, I'm curious what time would be appropriate to meet up since I've never been to this meet.

I will be there! Camera in hand... Thinking about carting out some of my semi-mobile
strobes and making a little mobile drive in drive out subie portrait studio for part of the day.
Would there be enough interest?

Shannon in new car sales has a large b/w checker background that they used to use for the pontiac commercials years ago and strobes and umbrellas if needed.

I'm interested! I like the checkered flag idea as well.

Good deal. It looks like it should be a pretty good turn out this year.

Here is a flyer if anyone wants to print and post it around.

3rd Annual Madison Subaru Show & Meet
It’s that time of year, again. Tag your calendars for April 25th. Why?
How does this sound….
•
Itasca Illinois Police Department STI squad car. (Courtesy of Itasca Illinois Police Department
and Subaru of America)

•
Fast and Furious 4 Promotional STI (Courtesy of Subaru of America)

•
X-Ray Vision Forester (Courtesy of Subaru of America)

•
Wisconsin Autosports Group representatives

•
Rally America representatives

•
Various regional rally cars

•
Drawing for autographed posters of Ken Block (Provided by DC Shoes)

•
Drawing for a 1-in-400 limited edition signed print of Travis Pastrana and Ken Block from their Racer-X
debut (Supplied by Subaru of America Marketing)

•
DC Shoes decals for every attendee-5" for the first 150 and 2" after that.

•
Show competition for Street, Off-Road, and Best of Show categories. (Prize support from DC Shoes)

•
Non-competitive Road Rally with approximately 170 curves, 58 miles, and many elevation changes
through the hills of south-central Wisconsin.

•
Free food at the meet.

ALL SUBARU ENTHUSIASTS ARE INVITED!!!
Subaru ownership not required for the drive or
meet, but required for the competitions. Please RSVP Shannon at
smarcott@donmiller.com with the
number attending and number of drivers(so we don't run out of food). Address of the meet: 801 East
Washington Avenue, Madison, WI, 53703 (North side of the street in the service lot.)
There aren't any admission fees or entry fees this year. It's all coming out of the pockets of the
dealership, it's employees, SOA, and DC Shoes. If you feel like tossing a couple bucks our way at the
meet, we'd be very grateful. Plans are in the works for a RallyX next year to go along with the meet,
but only if we get a decent showing this year. The last two have been pretty good considering the first
year it rained the whole day and the second year was the day of the floods that covered the southern
half of the state.

Here’s the schedule:
11:00 AM – Meet at the service lot of Don Miller Subaru in Madison on the
800 block of East Washington Avenue. Sign-up begins for the noncompetitive
road rally.
3:00 PM – Submit votes for the show competitors and turn in raffle tickets.
3:30 PM – Winners are announced. Pack up and get ready for the caravan to
the rally start point.
4:00 PM – Leave for Quaker Steak and Lube in Middleton.
4:30 PM – Pick up route instructions and begin the run.
6:30 PM – Leave Brigham Park to meet back at Quaker Steak and Lube for
wrap-up

News Update!!

We've got 2 paintless dent removal crews verified!! Hellowinter will also be there shooting auto portraits.

Ken block posters are now matted and framed. Trophies are ordered. LTD edition Pastrana/Block print being fitted and framed. Last rework of the route instructions in progress. Banners being stenciled. Almost ready to go!!

Matt's been a little busy, so I figured I'd join up here to keep you all up to date.

Forecast for the meet: 71 and sunny.

I'm off for my first rallyx in Chilton tomorrow. Leeetul nearvus.... hope I don't screw up too badly.

The more people we get for this meet the more SOA (and others) will help out for future meets.
