Well I've had my Ganzflo CAI and Amsoil filter on for a few weeks now and I love it. All the reviews I read on were right on. The car certainly pulls harder and now I can enjoy the boxer sound coming from under the hood
Larry was great to work with, the install was simple and the unit arrived without a blemish on it. I think the Pro ECM chip is next,,,,, thanks Larry. Now for the exhaust question. Has anyone installed the MBRP cat back system yet? I did a search and didn't find anything. I like the looks and the price is in my budget. Here's a pic of my baby after a bath and a coat of Mothers wax. Thanks to everyone, Ken

There's nothing sweeter than a clean black car, the hard part is keeping it that way.

The link is http://www.mbrp.com
I called them today and spoke with Eric, seemed like a good guy and spent a good 10-15 minutes explaining things. When you enter their Import Cat Back section the picture shown is for the WRX. If you're running a GC8 style the cat back is a 2.25 inch pipe with dual 3 inch tips. I've attached a picture of both. Eric said the exhaust is tuned to be quiet but come to life in the middle and upper ranges. Basically he said when you pull into work people won't be looking out the windows at you, and cruising down the highway your filling won't resonate out of your head,,,, which is always a bonus Thanks again to Eric and here are the pics, |

Here's a pic of the muffler for the 2.5 RS cat back. I was told the piping for this system was 2.25 inches.
