Default need help with piston choice

Ok guys I have a ej257short block with stock crank and rods,acl race main and conrad bearings planning to run a gt3076r, about23lb boost max with pe 850cc sidefeed. the block is already honed 100mm.I am trying to choose pistons for my build,I really like the ceramic coated manley pistons compared to cp pitons.wich is better for my build???? cps $520ishhile manleys $440ish I am also running a ewg 38mm and frontmount intercooler

i think you would be fine either way for that power output, could even try and sneak some stock pistons in there and probably be ok. well wait is it a 2.5 or 2.0???
dont rods ussually go before pistons on our motors?

aslo I did tgv deletes and mild port and polish.with this the car is actually in Jamaica right now after doing all this I have a cobb access port is there anyone with a map that will tune my injectors and support the modifications that were done?

honestly you could throw whatever pistons in there you want and should be ok.

what he said^. people run cp s, weiscos, mahles, je s, supertech etc w/o issue. the builder is more important than the brand imo.

Is it a jdm or usdm? Why not use ecu flash? Is it 2.0 heads?

If you bought this block already bored to 100mm pistons what pistons were used to determine how much needed to get the p/w clearance. Usually you send your pistons with the block to have the machinist bore the cylinders to the desired spec. So find out what pistons the previous owner sent in during time of machining.

manley makes some good stuff, i will be doing manley rods and there springs, valves and retainers with cosworth pistons when i do my block in the next few months (more like fall)
