is this the same as a car side for a 98 2.5RS?

The 98 2.5RS has a DOHC phase 1 engine while the 2000 has a SOHC phase 2, so I don't think it would match perfectly.

for swap purposes (wrx or sti), I think you should be okay.

well i dont want to buy it and start splicing on a "think" ya know? that could be a ton of wasted time and ive only got 3 days to do the work...

wouldn't happen to be an Automatic by any chance? If it was, i would need the Cruise control Module. Dont know if you have that either.
