We did the install at Winslows, and I think about half the AKIC stopped by to check it out. We did a Vishnu Stage 0 on Bill Maxells car.
We just got done tuning it a little while ago, and that kit makes a BIG difference. It pulls very hard now! The install went pretty good, but we forgot to bring the beer out until the end. Kris |

Well I cant say enough good things about the Stage 0. Its awesome. THe turbo spools quicker, it pulls much harder and the boost remains fairly stable all the way to redline. I have it cranked to about 16 psi +/- .5. Its a great system.
My thanks to Winslow and Kris for "helping" with the install. Eric you need to forget about your EGT and get this install man. No regrets here.Sorry if this is a crappy review. Im not very knowledgable about this stuff, but the butt test shows its definitley gave me a big boost in HP. If you have any specific questions that i forgot to cover here, feel free to PM me or post. Bill |

FUll installation and tuning took all day. We started around 10 in the morning and finished with the tuning about 730 with a break for lunch. I ll be willing to give anyone interested a ride.

Do you mean how long did it take before we started drinking beer? That took about 7 hours. The install and tune took about 10 hours. In that time, we cooked and sat down to breakfast and lunch, gave test drives in Min's car, took many breaks talking with all the members of i-Club, installed an uppipe, MBC, main crank pulley, spark plugs, unichip, and a boost gauge. Did I miss anything? Oh, yeah! And, harassing Bill because he didn't do any of the hard work.
Where are the pics? Bill was the camera man. Winslow |

Bill, I would tell you that the Momo knob was the biggest performance boost, but understand that it went on a long time ago and you'd think I was full of it.
Winslow, how does it compare to your car? More or less power? Where at in the power band? I wonder how this system would work with an EBC instead of the MBC? Is this an item that AKAutoGear will be carrying on a regular basis? |

I do not think we will stock them, but we will sell them and install them as they are wanted. We cannot afford to have $1000 sitting on the shelf waiting for a buyer.
Later....Kris |

The power gains are about the same but the Stage zero comes on boost much sooner. With the exhaust, I saw more top end gains. The Stage Zero does open up more of the usable power band because boost is held to redline. The nice thing about the Vishnu vs. TurboXS is that Vishnu uses a variety of parts to produce gains whereas TurboXS relies on the Unichip. There shouldn't be a problem running the UniChips with an EBC over an MBC. Actually, the EBC gives you more flexability with your boost selection while the MBC is constant. Bill has it set at 16 psi in 4th gear which has made it difficult for him to cruise in fifth gear. In fifth, the boost climbs to over 17 psi and he hits fuel cut. I told him to down shift if it happens again or turn down the BC.
