Default 08 STI fuel pump shut-off

One of my previous cars had a fuel pump that shut off after a hard bump (to stop from pumping gas after an accident). It had a reset button in the trunk. I found that out the hard way after someone tapped me in the rear during a heavy rain. The car was not significantly damaged, but I had to wait for a tow truck. The driver showed me how to reset the fuel pump.

Does the 08 STI have anything similar? If so, where is the reset button? I could not find anything in my owner’s manual.

If nothing about the cutoff switch is in the owners manual then it doesnt have one. You must be talking about the Ford/Mercury. Maybe Mazda
