Angry Metrowest Subaru, Natick MA

I had an awful experience at this dealership, as part of long saga having to do with my head gasket failing. I posted a thread about it here, http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=1711562

Basically, they diagnosed my car improperly (which nobody really cared about at SOA), I believe they made up a problem to try and squeeze money out of me, one of their stupid technicians left my antifreeze overflow tank cap off and coolant got all over the freaking place, and when I called to complain the service manager treated me like absolute garbage with no apologies whatsoever.

I don't even know the last time I had such a bad experience with customer service. They deserve to rot in hell.

Unfortunately your experiance with Metrowest Subaru isn't unusual. A fair amount of people have indeed tried using them for service. While their sales stuff seems for the most part to be pretty decent, they seriously need to improve upon their service department.

The good thing is that the owner of Metrowest Subaru does from time to time visit this board, and is (or at least at one time was) eager to listen to customer complaints in an effort to improve upon his dealership.

Depending on where you reside or work, Long Subaru, Wakefield Subaru, Ira Subaru, and even Norwood Subaru are fairly decent places for service although you might be better off at this point using the services of an independent garage the specialize in Subarus.

Wow, thanks for this, I just got around to checking this thread. I'm so fed up that I can't take the stress anymore dealing with this situation. But I laughed because I got one of their mailings - "as a valued customer we're offering you...." So I think I'm going to write Frank and tell him well, I was treated like a piece of garbage, not a valued customer.

I had no problems with them.. but then again I only went there to get some keys cut.

Scares me to know that they have such problems with service.... I'm going to stick to my own work for a while
