Default Any Pics of VF10 compressor wheel ?

Hi all , I need some pics of a VF10s comp wheel as in comp housing removed .

What they have is a 56mm major dia wheel but in ~ 50T so smaller on the inducer than VF8s or VF12s 56mm compressors .

Also a pic of down the exhaust inlet hole would be good too - need to compare to tiny VF4/6/7 from EA82T .

Cheers A .

I won't need to show you a pic you because they are actually bigger than the 7.

this won't help
but there are 2 versions of th vf-10 (auto and manual)
IIRC the manual had 10 blades on the turbine and the auto has 9

this could be backwards though ///

Not so. The vf-8 was found on the Liberty/Legacy RS and the RSs only came with either a vf8 OR vf12. The L RS had about 220hp ish.

The Legacy/Liberty GT of the same year was the Automatic version. This came with the vf10. It only had 200hp.

The vf10 a turbo with a vf8 cold side. and a vf11 hot side with a slightly larger hot side wheel.

And I'm running a vf10 right now. Not a terrible little turbo. Pushing out 16lbs and it spools right the **** up! lol Full Boost by 2k on a ej22t.

And the vf10 is definitely WAYY bigger than the ea82t because the vf11 (which is the worlds ****ty and tiniest turbo) is bigger that the ea82 turbos.

Hope this helps.

Oh, and some pics.

Thanks for those pics .
What I was asking after was compressor wheel pics of the FV10 with the comp cover removed .
I know for a fact that VF8 VF10 and VF12s all have 56mm major diameter compressor wheels but the VF10's is a significantly smaller trim than the 8 or 12 which is why from the outside (housing on) that the compressor doesn't look significantly larger than an EA82's compressor or probably the VF11's one .
I have pics here of my friends VF8 and VF10 and you can see distinct differences in the castings of the 15R and 20R , its not just an A/R ratio change .
Also from pics you can see another distinct difference in the compressor housings of Subie RHB5's , ones with 52mm dia compressors ie EA82T's and VF11's have a more distinct flange where they bolt to the cartridge . The ones on the turbos with 56mm dia comps ie VF8/10/12 just seem to curve around on the outside of the housings casting .
So I think we can safely say you can identify these turbos by looking at the housings , big series 10 blade turbines go with the 20R housing and small series 9 blade ones go in the 12-15R turbine housings .
If the unit has the larger "wrap around" compressor housing it has the larger major diameter compressor , if not the smaller major diameter wheel .
Another thing I'd really like to see is a pic of a VF11 compressor wheel with its housing removed because I'd like to know approximately how much larger its trim/inducer is compared to the EA82T's wheel .
IHI compressor designations .

VF2/3/4/5/6 - 3911EZ
VF8 .......... - 4625CFZ
VF10 ........ - 4225 CFZ
VF11 ........ - 4016EZ
VF12 ........ - 4726CFZ

I'd like to know what these numbers mean and all you can tell is that they go up in size with an increase in airflow pumping capacity .
From lowest to highest flow the models would read :

VF2-6
VF11
VF10
VF8
VF12

Not surprisingly those first three use the smaller 9 bladed turbine in firstly 12R (some rare Euro Spider XT4 EA82Ts were 15R) and in the second and third cases EJ flanged 15R housings .
The last two both use the larger 10 blade turbine in the larger series 20R EJ flanged turbine housing .

Cheers , Adrian .

PS . I should have a complete VF10 and VF8 here next week and I am getting messages to say that VF10s are being rebuilt here .
If I can do something about extra fueling I may be able to have a hybrid made up of a VF8 cartridge with the VF10's compressor wheel and housing on its front . Basically a VF8 with an ~ 50 rather than ~ 60T compressor end on it .
