So i just got into architecutral grad school at UBC and am trying to decide between portland and vancouver.

What are people's opinions of Vancouver? Vancouver vs. Portland? What the subie scene like up there?

i have had home-made by family in the interior, and some a friend from Romania made some traditional stuff

Don't move here we have ugly woman, bad weed, and there is no where to mountian bike, surf or snowboard. Plus everyone on VIC drives base model Suby's that all riced out with Tein, HKS, Rota's and Blitz stuff!

If I had to live in the USandA I would choose somewhere in Oregon. Tough choice. We don't really like 'Mericans much up here so I would say your safer bet is Portland.

haha, nice.

hmmm, filtering out the sarcasm is proving more difficult than i anticipated, haha.
well, besides school i do a lot of backpacking, skiing/snowboarding, skateboarding, making music. so if the comments about vancouver not having much outdoor activity are genuine, then that sucks. i'm going to go visit both cities next weekend, hopefully that helps. i've heard great things about both places.

also, i hear that in canada milk comes in bags
