Default Engine Loom problem?? PLEASE HELP

Hey NASIOC,

I have a 1995 WRX STI RA (verson 2).

I removed the engine loom a while ago when rebuilding the engine, whilst the engine loom was off i decided to strip all the factory tape from the wires to check the condition of the loom and then i re-covered it with new tape.

Now the problem..

I went to fit the engine loom to my newly built engine and i don't know what injector plug goes to what injector? and what coil plug goes to what coil? Even some of the other sensors have the same plugs and i dont want to connect them to the wrong plug.

If anyone has encountered this problem before or there is a rule to engine looms or even a diagram of the pin layout of the entire loom to help me see this through i would be extremely thankfull

Thankyou!

Or use the wiring diagram and check the color codes. That's WHY the wires are color coded.

I have a manual that claims to be an '95 WRX manual. Not sure I believe it.

Ignition Coil
#1 Y,RG
#2 Y,WR
#3 Y,L L is Blue in subaru colors
#4 Y, Lg Lg is light green

Connector Colors
#1 and #2 - Gray
#3 and #4 - Black

Injector
#1 Br,YR
#2 Lg,YR
#3 LR,YR
#4 LB,YR

Connector Colors
It says #1 and #2 are light Gray
and #3 and #4 are Dark Gray

I'm going to have to agree 100% with Jaxx. Double check with a meter.
