Default V8 Spec-C Shortblock + WRX built heads + HTA68 = 294WHP

Finally put a turbo that the motor likes.

Boost set to 23psi peak, as you can see the boost goes down and the torque goes with it, turbo is maxed out heads want MOOOOOREE POWAAHHHH

Great numbers. I have been on a mustang dyno and on race gas made 10whp more, but you are making 15whp more at redline. How much boost? With a 5 speed this is an 11 second car, awsome!

What dyno is this on? What altitude?

If this is a mustang its ok, but if this is a DynoJet its not that good.

Regardless, 23PSI is a lot and the numbers are only so so. I make 320 whp, 294lb on a Dynojet at a max of 16PSI w/ my 18G 8cm (I am running Kelford 264/264 cams, so I also hold power to redline). Yes, I know different car/dyno, but still the HTA68 is runnning 7 PSI more.

I really think that this is just a more efficient 16G with the same or a little more power than an Evo3. IMHO the HTA Green is quite a bit better than the regular FP Green, so I think when we see a HTA varient of the 18G w/an 8cm exhaust housing and TD06 compressor housing it will really start to flow better. The smallish 16G with a TD05 compressor housing and 7cm exhaust housing is killing this thing.

It kind of reminds me of the Blouch's Dom 2.5 (at least the initial ones/dynos), where they did not have the housing sizes just right, actuator was off, and it just was not flowing or making as much power as it should.

No, i was talking about my stock turbo on the mustang dyno last year. My oil seals on the turbo are done, im going through a quart of oil a day. Instead of spending 400 on another one, just to break it, I just ordered the HTA 68 and it will be going on the car next friday. Perhaps when im back in a job and the car is a bit older ill go back and shoot for an 11.6 on the vf. I just need to get the car out of the 3400 lb range to do it.

I figure I at least accomplished something on the stocker. Fastest stage 2 STi on pump gas 93, and fourth fastest on race gas (USDM) in North America.

What is the standing 16g or hta 1/4 record. I plan on trying to kill it, then move back to the stocker or try for 10's on the HTA green.

In all honesty your dynojet 320whp would be about 265, maybe 270 on this particular dyno. They are heartbreakers. 16psi?? Turn it up a little man

I am not turning it up for the tranny's sake. I got laid off not too long ago, so I cannot afford to grenade my tranny right now. Wish I could be running like 21 PSI, but that will have to wait until the budget allows.

I finally found a new after being out of work for 7 months!!! GL to you guys on getting new ones.

Is this power on 93 octane and where is tuningalliance at cause I tried to search for it?

You should throw in some meth or e85 and turn up the wick to 25 psi. lol I dont believe the turbo is maxed out though.

Man I am glad I am still in school. Right about the time I get out, the economy should be back in full swing (hopefully).

Mustang dyno. About sea level (boston, MA)

A TD05 16g makes 254 WHP / 237 WTQ.

HTA 68 on the same car made 272 WHP / 253 WTQ on the same car as the 16G

http://tuningalliance.com

We did put the boost up but had no effect on the numbers, so we put it down.

This car is actively a track car and safety is #1 priority, however the powerband is great and the car MOVES.
