Default Questions about o2 sensors!! help :)

ok, i need your help here

what is the difference between 05 2.5rs o2 sensors and 06/07 2.5i o2 sensors?

i ain't paying no $218.00 for a new rear o2 sensor, where as i can get a universal type FRONT o2 sensor from a 05 2.5rs for $58.00....

Universals tend to bonk out faster. You can definitely give it a shot.

There is a difference between 05 and 06/7 sensors though. I believe it might have to do with the change in exhaust design.

the only difference i have seen is that the 06-07 has about a 2" washer on both sensors.

i'm only at 32K and alreay killed my front o2 sensor with a "low votage" code. wanted to try the 05 2.5rs sensor since it was cheap to see if my low votage CEL went away...

So let me see if I follow here. You killed your front sensor so your fix is to try and replace the rear sensor? You're stupider than I thought.

Ok, so the o2 sensors (front & rear) from a 2.5rs should work on a 2.5i?
