Anyone on NWIC Home Brew? - Page 10

I just started fermentation of my very first brew (stout) last night. The instructions weren't super clear on a few things (especially for a newbie) but so far so good. I hope it turns out.

Just started a raspberry brown that said its supposed to be more like a lambic than a brown.

Also just started a regular brown ale for a party I'm going to.

I have another brown in secondary that I'm bottling for a Co-worker.

Kegged a chocolate honey porter.

Waiting for my molasses brown sugar cider to finish in secondary.

Man....that's out of control.

And BTW, this turned out amazing. Probably my favorite thing I've brewed so far.

I never knew this existed (or remembered). This weekend I am doing a ~15-16% Barley wine and a sorachi ace single pale ale. (Got 20lbs of pellets free)

Just fired up the burner for the first time this year...

got the dunkelweizen in the fermenter and cooking up an Olympia Pale Ale right now.

It's pretty tasty and its only been kegged for 2 weeks.

I brewed a black IPA and my first all-grain last weekend, a nut brown ale. I forgot to snag a hydrometer reading before pitching the yeast, so I have no idea how efficient my mashing was. It was pretty sticky, so I know there's plenty of sugars in it. Haha!

Nice! I bottled a Moose Drool clone yesterday and threw together another traditional German hefeweizen on Friday night. My last hefe had more banana flavors than I wanted at 60 degrees so this one gets to ferment in the basement at ~52 degrees. That should keep the bananas away.

Very nice man! Let me know how it turns out. I wish I could help you out with the corny keg situation but my 5 kegs are being usedused. I know a place that sells used ones for about 50-60 dollars.

I actually changed my lemon-lime to a blueberry lemonade hefe and I'm brewing it today instead of last weekend.

Started home brewing last fall with some hard cider, and just now uncapping some of my first attempt at an Irish stout. Car bombs anyone? :-)
