Default odd behavior... ugh

Well, lately my WRX has been acting up... let me explain.

i've been very paranoid about headgaskets since i've had one blow before, but anyways...

Firstly, the car drives GREAT. but it doesn't look so great.

before, the car would smoke just a tiny bit at startup and that was that, i thought nothing of it...

Had a track day on saturday, and at the last session when i went to start her up she puffed out a big cloud of smoke when i started it up... wtf?!

ever since then on on start up shes been doing that, but not so much just idling (very faint)

When i changed the oil, it looked fine (no coolant etc), when i changed the coolant, same thing... looked fine.

Checked the oil cap, nothing... looks fine.

checked the spark plugs, look great.. no fluid anywhere.

compression test reads; 152-152-151-162

hmmm i guess thats ok, a little high on one though (or maybe the other 3 are just low?)

when i changed the oil i accidentally overfilled it about a quart too, i don't know if that has much to do with it.

lastly, i was getting blow by out of my perrin EBCS on the open port, and out of my BOV... like ALOT.

my dipstick also popped out at the end of the day (or maybe it just popped out from all the g forces from the track day?)

what do you guys think? i'm pretty confused, the car runs great but she just smokes a bit and im pretty concerned about it. the heater also smells like ****, like burning something

Did you drain the excess oil that you added?

Get the oil level back down to the correct level and the smoke should go away.

Hmm... i'm going to change it sometime this week most likely tomorrow or tuesday.

Going to refill to with 15W50.

Do you guys really think that could be the problem or are you just guessing?
