Rough estimate would be a 12.70-low 12.80 off you 1/8 mile ET. The problem with normal assumptions though is a stock turbo WRX falls off so bad up top that conventional math doesn't apply. Normally the standard is to multiply 1/8 mile by 1.54 and it comes up within a few hundredths of the 1/4 mile time but it's hard to be accurate with a TD04 on a 2.5.

Still a nice gain.

Rub it in . I only ran a 12.7 with stage 2 protuned, but that was with my catted downpipe. Also, you have a lot of room for improvement with your 60'. I would say you could pull a 12.5 with a better launch.

The bolded part holds very true in my experience. I have hundreds of stock td04 slips for good passes and the 1.54 rule doesn't seem to apply. It is more like multiply by 1.54 and add 2-3 tenths. Most of my 8.2xx 1/8ths are between 12.9x and 13.0x. Also, I don't know how accurate the timing is known to be at that track, but it usually takes me a 8.0xx - 8.10x to be in the 10.6's at the 1,000' mark. Although looking at your weight reduction, our cars might not be the best comparison since yours should be a couple hundred pounds lighter then mine usually is at the track. Anyway, great run and great driving, can't wait to see what it runs next time at the 1/4 mile strip.

Most stock turbo WRX's with the stock driveline and reasonable tires are only good for low 1.7 60's at best. Toss some PPG's, good diffs or very sticky tires in the mix and then maybe 1.6's or better.

thanks opposite...ya i am looking at doing a vf turbo upgrade soon as well..so the 1/4 mile stuff may have to wait. i won't be doing any more power upgrades further than that for the couple of years. pay the car off and buy another dd and make this a track car.
