Default 02 VF39 WRX + E85 = [email protected] at 5300ft altitude

Even with my clutch slipping like a mofo (its the oem ) I still managed on launching the car with a decent 60'. Man the clutch STUNK after this run though. I only had the boost at 23psi instead of the 25 i was dynoed at. The video isnt the greatest and of course it had to be against a super fast turbo fox body.
I dont know who took the video, so he put sti which my car is not.

Just for reference, this car ran [email protected] last season on 91+meth at 23psi. Check the .001 reaction time.

Plug the numbers in and he's within 6%. Curb 3086 + 260 lb driver= 339 whp based on trap speed.
I've always thought this DJ read high but judging by Stanghater's trap speeds, not high by much.

i wasnt at 25psi which is what i dynoed at. I was at 23psi. not sure if it makes a difference but i may have been able to squeeze an extra mph out of it, if my clutch couldve handled it of course

^02 WRX only weights 3086lbs? I thought it was more like 3250lbs?

Either way you have the reaction time of a robot

Sorry there is no way that is right.. my H Civic traps 109 mph (at 13.90's lol) and it is 100% stock - other than its in a Civic.

Your conversion says 242... its lucky to make 180whp... 2400lbs total weight..

there were 2 distinct points to my previous post
#1 that was a nice outcome for that altitude
#2 numbers are just that- numbers on that dyno
and those numbers that day were scewed by an "SAE" correction

furthermore you cannot really trust some of those HP calculators.
depending on the formulas the developer used will give you different results. Along with a change in weight will go along way. Say he had - 10 gallon of fuel (-70 pounds) and no spare (-30 pounds). that changes your ET calculator by 12hp
A MODLIST and a LOG would be nice.

this is not to detract from the OP,.... good driving

How are you running 13.9 in a stock civic??!?!!?!? There is no way you did that buddy with no LSD, weight reduction, turbo, built motor, better clutch, headers, exhaust and a tune lol. My boys EVO MR on the two step is hitting 13.5 13.7 stock and no stock civic is keepin up with that.

Hmm lol i dont think that motor comes stock in 94 coupes. What is it like the b16 or something. And they dont have LSD stock either. Thats a little more believable cus i saw a 93 accord that same day run a 13.8 on a frankenstein boosted.

Stanghaters mod list looks a little more capable of pulling good 13s however im not a honda expert and my boy with the evo is.

Stanghater thats an awesome time bro. Get a clutch and careful on that tranny with the added torque. I havent had problems with mine yet but im on the stock clutch.

btw i dont think its thread jacking. Stanghater if its messin up the thread let us know.

Its not a stock engine in the civic - but it is a 100% stock H22 - which nets just over 200 chp..

Just for a comparison on a road dyno 3rd gear for 3rd gear weight for weight - (my car) - 350/330 for the civic to accelerate as quickly from rpm/rpm speed/speed it needs 194whp and 160wtq...

^^ Thats why it traps a high speed - minus traction for the first 400ft or so...

-Jerod

Op Get your 60' down to 1.6's and you'll drop 3-4 tenths... I know it sounds impossible on the 5mt but it's doable.. BTW, how is the stock 5mt holing up?

You have made my decision for me op, I'm getting a vf39. That looks about perfect for my power goals. I think evo3 would be a little big for what I'm planning and if you can make those kind of numbers and times with a vf39 and e85 with supporting mods I'll gladly do that instead of an evo3.

E85 FTMFW!!!
