Meh, they are sick but really slow in stock trim because the NA 4V 4.6 has no useable torque. Throw a tune, converter and 4.10's and they can really move.
I used to have an 2003 ex police crown vic that I did a 5spd swap on. With a few mods it was just as quick as a stock 2.0 WRX minus a hard launch. Here is a video of someone elses 5spd swaped Police interceptor that I helped him complete his swap with info and guidance. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9MKg-...eature=channel 76mm Single turbo Police Interceptor @ half throttle. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e6Umo...eature=related F150 Lightning 5.4 Supercharged engine in a Crown Vic. Has a TKO600 5speed transmission now and more power from better dyno tuning. http://videos.streetfire.net/video/Q...-in_128071.htm 650rwhp 4.6 4V 03/04 Cobra powered One Lap of America car. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QAWuHvVCI6g Last edited by FunkRider; 04-08-2009 at 02:44 AM. |

Thanks for the comments. Owner claims 12.1 on street tires, not sure what it traps.
