Default Are All Timing Belts Created Equal At High RPM?

Continuing my march of threads about high-rpm on my EJ253, I'm wondering if I need to be concerned about the timing belt. The stocker has 82k miles on it, so it's about time to change it anyway. I know a couple of my idlers are a little rough, so they'll be getting replaced as well. The question is wither to buy another OEM timing belt, or get a high-zoot belt like the ones from Gates Racing.

Do "racing" timing belts offer any better safety at high RPM or do they just cost more?

Weird. For the EJ253, the Gates is about $50 more than OEM.

gates is cheaper (or same price, not sure) for the 205 and makes your engine bay smell like new shoes. its a win win.

II doesn't sell the one for the RS.

The OEM one is about $60 and the Gates one was $100 from the one place that had it. So it's $40 cheaper for OEM, not $50.
