Default Version 8 STI swap into 05 WRX

I am going to be doing the swap in the next month and before I got down and dirty with it I wanted to touch base on here and see if anyone had any tips to make the swap easier. Any recommendations from guys who have experience doing the swap is welcome.

Right now the engine and the trans is connected and I would love to get it all in without taking the trans from the engine. Also, the half shafts and driveshaft are included along with the brakes and suspension. Its all going on.

Thanks for the Input!

Default engine swap

i know this isn't related to your section but since we are discussing engine swaps, i was wondering, i am looking to get a '01 Impreza RS, but the transmission is messed up and i am looking to put in new engine, turbo preferrably. Which subaru/impreza/wrx/sti engines would be a good swap or a common swap? And also, the engines come with the transmission..right?? THanks!
