yo Andrew, unfortunately the rubber on them is pretty much done. Thats why I'm only listing the rims.

Main reason for thinking of selling these rims is I'm trying to avoid buying new rubbers retail, for I can't seem to find a used set of 225/40/18 summers from anyone local for a decent price.

I figure If I'm forced to buy new rubbers retail, I might as well spend a bit more and get a whole new combo altogether and sell these joints.
I still love these rims thought, been torn for some time now, I just can't afford money/space for another set.

I'm thinking maybe this exact combo in hyper black if possible.....

http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ght=17x9+wagon

seems like a good set-up for us wagons for something a bit meatier, 17x9 the +42 allows wagon fenders to stuff 245 maybe even 255 with some rolling and -neg camber.
+42 also clears strut set-ups.

A part of me wants to go 18x9 +35 for the aggressive look you crazy kids are all rocking. But I'm not sure I can run a set-up like that for getting groceries and diapers. I'll be happy as **** thought......

lots of downsides that out weight the go ahead with this notion. But again, the look is soooo mean.

what do you guys think?
feel free to chime in.

I just hi-jacked my own thread!.

That's page 469, not 937 for everyone else http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...ostcount=23416

I dig the curved spokes on both, makes them stand out a bit more- which is good idea for black wheels since they all pretty much look the same otherwise (they blend with the tires and don't really 'pop out')

They are releasing some 18x9 and 18x9.5 later the year for those DPT. Those should look badass on your car man.

^^ Nice single post link!
what the heck is page 469?

I agree about the curved spokes. Same reason I put back the factory decals back on the P1's to give it a lip/edge before the rim blends into the tires. Worked out good.

I too like the shape of both those wheel styles. The 17's seem far more practical, yet the 18's are so booyaka.

sigh* decisions decisions...

Fender flares to fit 18x9 35ET 265/35/18
Looks awesome on a wagon!

Anyhow.......these are some of the inspirations why I'm considering selling my rims to try something different.

^ front lip I got from fastwrx/suby dude......
OH wait! no I did'nt!
I actually ended up getting it from ebay for 80$
that way I don't care if it gets banged up, cause it will/does.
do a search, I'm sure you'll find one.

Fitment, you'll need STi side splitters.
Loomin sorted me out by drilling new holes for the lip to match up perfectly.

GL! and thanks for the comment!

Any idea if these'll clear the struts on a GC8? If so, I'm interested!

^ I'm guessing they do.
These wheels first came out for the GC models back in the day, and if I'm not mistaken, we share simular strut setups as a wagon?

My friend across the street has a 01RS aswell, perhaps a test fit + I won't mind seeing these bad boys on his ride before they go.
I'll post pics for you to decide.

Noticed you live in Calgary,
FYI: shipping will be extra.

Thanks man!
