Default Captain Morgan's Car In The White Mountains of New Hampshire

Just some photos I took last Wednesday on a sprited trip through the White Mountain National Forest. I saw *maybe* 10 cars the whole roundtrip of about 70 miles. Very therapeutic drive .

At the side of Bear Notch Road

Mt. Kancamagus

One of the overlooks... your guess is as good as mine which one it is though

Two of "The Three Sisters" in the background

Same parking area as the above photo

Fishguy-esqe shot back towards Mt. Chocorua

Wish I had the golds back on instead of the stock wheels for these, but I just put them on back on Sunday.

Man, that makes me soooo jealous. A group of us have always gone
to No. Conway over the (Canadian) long weekend in May. One of the
things I always looked forward to was driving the Kanc. Unfortunately,
we are doing it this year

Always a great drive! Great pics!

Thumbs up

I really need to go back up there soon, with the weather being so nice and all.

I've stopped at pretty much every place you have a pic... that rotunda that you're parked in front of? I took a friend up there in the a middle of a snowstorm last year... he fell into a 6' snow drift, above his head.

Laughs were had by all... I should go back up this Saturday, before the meet at Bradus'.

Thanks, Brian, wonderful pics.

Thanks for all the kind words folks! I'll try to get everyone's questions answered . Let's see... Neal. Wing's been on for awhile- the car's just clean is all (for once ). I'd really like to go back up with the gold STi rims on though for some more photos though. Hiroki Tada et al... eh, you kind of just strap the camera to your wrist, stick it out the window and hope for the best . Not entirely responsible of me, but the road was essentially deserted and I had no passengers to take them. I snapped about 6 shots and 3 or 4 good ones came out, that one being the best one IMHO. SubaruStu... us NESIC folks try to make a trip up to the Kanc every once in awhile- maybe we can have an "International Kancamagus Trip" sometime ? RSarte- I love the unibrow ! It makes the windshield wipers effective at high speeds because it forces so much air up over the car. SoobATV, you are welcome for the pics. A NESIC hiking-type trip has been discussed a few times... maybe we should finally put one together and enjoy the WMNF the real way .
