Subaru Stars which block

my factory sti 2.5 is f'ed. spun bearing. knocks at 2000rpm on occaction and im told it will just get worse. the only reasonable replacements i have come up with is the axis and the P&L Motorsports short block.
any other options to consider? if not..which is better? seems to me the p&l gives u more for your money but i dont know.
if i pissed off any forum nazis by not searching well enough..sorry..take solace in the fact that i never wanted to have to make this post in the first place cuz i was content with not blowing my engine.
i dont even know if this falls under built motors...whatever

RAW (axis is a great builder). If you can afford it, go to Ron.

I would be extremely careful driving it. I spun a rod bearing in my 03 rex at a tune. I drove it home hearing that knock in my motor. Started it the next day and it seized.

Check out DOM try his website getadomtune.com I am sure he has links to his motor builds. he builds them for airplanes. If people trust his work to fly a plane than I am sure it's good enough for the track
