Default Fairbanks guys

Kinda curious,

I know that I saw a very large increase in power when it got to about 5 degrees or so over here, and I was wondering what you guys saw when it got down into the 30 to 40 below range.

Cool

I didn't really notice a difference other than the car was harder to start and the steering was a little stiff. The suspension felt a little harder, the heater doesn't heat anything. Maybe someone that has a heated garage can notice a difference because the car is parked somewhere warm and all the fluids and stuff aren't almost frozen. I do notice some more zip when it is colder though.
Also all-wheel drive doesn't work in the snow when you don't have ground clearance.

What a guy, he parks in the garage and makes his girlfriends park outside.

Fairbanks guy, huh?

my car pulled a little harder when it was colder outside.
but when it was too cold, the car was hard to start, and the shifter was really stiff and hard to down shift.

You wouldn't see alot of perfromance gain due to the cold unless you upped the boost. Running in colder air temps allows you to run higher boost levels on pump gas...... ask me how I know... I dare you. DAM YOU ALLEN! :monkey:

You weren't racing in subzero temp against an all wheel drive were you?
