Default EJ20K suction pipe question

ok, so removed my intake manifold to get it re-powder coated that beautiful red color, and noticed that the suction pipe is torn around the area where it attaches to the turbo.

so the question, i dont think this will cause problems since its an area that should be mated directly to the turbo, but does anyone have suggestions on a new suction pipe i can pick up?

If you don't get the right one then the reservoir that sits where the hose exits will eventually cut into it.

Rei_Akira, you'll probably have problems because the tear is after the maf.

I have a WRX stock pipe jammed into there currently. It is not a good fit but works. I have only seen these ebay one's for replacement. Those who tried them say they work Ok, but may not flow any better because the inner diameter is pretty much the same.

i bought one from autobahn as well for my ej-20k but it's way too tight of a fit. is there any alternative? something that'll work stock from a usa dealership? or any aftermarket piece is fine too.

RUnning with a torn pipe causes the engine to run lean so be careful.

I got the autobahn 88 one for mine, and I am never taking it off because its such a tight fit. Where it runs under the intake plenums and over the fuel rails, there is not very much room at all.
