I'm trying to order the correct front swaybar brackets because I can't verify what turbo crossmember I have. I was told it was a 94 legacy turbo but the brackets the dealership double checked and sent me are incorrect. My crossmember has a bolt on one side and hole on the other side for the brackets. Please snap a pic and mention your crossmember type if possible. I really don't want to drive this swap with no front swaybar and now I'm unsure if I'll need to shim the control arms.... arghhh!

FWIW I re-used my 97 OBS front sway bar brackets on my Legacy turbo front sway bar...I dont remember what the configuration is, ill have to look 2morrow.

Bump because the dealer can't figure out which mounts I need and I want to get my car aligned

don't need the sway bar to get it aligned .. in fact a good alignment shop will disconnect it during the alignment

Cool, I'll ask them about it and get it done today if possible. I found a pic of an 06 wrx bracket and it looks like the type I need so apparently the crossmember is a usdm wrx. Didn't need the 3mm spacers on the control arms though, they were very close. |
