Default DFW hail damage (PICS!)

Just when I though the day couldn't be worse.

The HellWagon got hail hammered.

Dents on top of the roof, a couple bad ones on the hood that took out a few paint chunks.

Any one else get scathed?

some you may want to try.....someone told me this.....have no idea.....but it's a cheap fix if it does work.

Get some dry ice, let you car sit in the hot sun for a while, till it's nice and toasty. Then put a small piece of dry ice in the dent. The rapid and drastic change in temp will pop the dent out......well that's how it's supposed to work.

If you do decide to try it....remember handling dry ice can burn the skin......so do wear some sort of gloves.

If it works....let us know.

*NOTE* Dry ice also has the off-chance possibility of completely screwing over your paint, leaving you with mysterious white splotches. MAKE SURE YOUR SMALL PIECE OF DRY ICE IS SMALL ENOUGH.

Excellent gloves for this are those yellow plastic RonCo Rotisserie gloves!

I'll find out in the morning, it's hailing as I type this. It's pretty small, so hopefully it won't be too bad.

We got some hail but from what I can tell it was too small to do any damage. Thankfully.

Im thinking insurance money = carbon fiber hood.

then I will get the roof fixed on my own time.

I'm taking insurance pics in the morning so I will post them if I get bored at work.

The painful pics.... most of the small "texture" dents didn't show up in the photos.

Where is this 'Texas Bodyworks'? Not that I need work done now, but for future reference, I'll be sure to check your place out.
