Bill,

I would be honored...

And the turbo sounds fun too! Be prepared to set aside at least two days for that install.

Sure bill, I can help out. I was also present for Rallispec's turbo install on my own car (helped them install it actually), so I know pretty much all the steps. Same goes for the clutch with wac.

One preference though - Chad, got a space heater? I get cold easily, and that garage doesn't look too warm.

-Edwin

ps: Bill, no need to call for me twice - look at the subject line. Edwin and efoo are the same person you know...

Yes, it's the incomplete kit like Edwin's. Rallispec is doing the sourcing for other parts and will also supply their exhaust, so it's a one-stop shopping deal. The only thing missing is a J&S knock sensor, and I have a couple of leads (I think?).

I'm not into pissing contests - I just want enough boost to make the tires work hard in a straight line. Packaged in a green grocery getter to hide from the cops .

Hey guys keep me posted. I did my clutch already but I haven't seen a turbo done.
I have narrowed down my next mod to RS bumper
or rear disc brakes.

what does chad have p his sleeve. Ok heres the thing my grand father has a 3 car garage does not have a lift but its for regular tuneup and little things im sure someway i could talk him into lending us a bay for a day or too but im not 100 percent 99 maybe but not 100. And this is a heated garage we will have to pay for use but not much maybe just to pay for the heat to be on ok but this seem to be the best idea ok guys let me do some research Bill let me know when or an exact time you should be looking to do this ok then we go from there ok also his garage is kinda right down the road. so then i will talk to you soon

Ooooo, speaking of heated garages, my brother-in-law has one...even the floor has a heating unit in it, so if you're under the car, you're nice and toasty. It's a huge garage, and I'll talk to him to see what's up...if he'd be willing to let us invade there for a garage day. I can't make any promises, but he might be interested to see a turbo put in...

Flea, that's simply amazing. I didn't know garages even came that decked out. But what do I know - I've never owned a house.

Can I convince your brother in law to let me rent his garage every once in a while? I can supply all my own tools and supplies.

Dang, now you've got me wanting to buy a house again.. but housing costs around here are so ludicrous that it'd put me in the poorhouse for sure, whether or not I've got two cars... argh.

Like I said, I haven't talked to him about it at all, so I'll see if he's cool about it and let you know.

Basically he added this giant two car garage as an addition to their house. I swear, the garage is bigger than the house!

I'll see if he's around tonight.

Hey Edwin, if you look for an older house you can find some around the area with radiant heating. They actually run the hot water pipes through the floors. It is a real nice way to heat a house, very comfortable. We have been using this method in some schools when they request it for the younger kids who are on the floors all the time. My friend has a house with it in Braintree. If a pipe breaks, you just turn the valve to that room off, and install electric baseboard in the room. If I ever build a house, I think my garage and driveway will have this type of heat.
No ice on my driveway.
