Need help with upgrades

Hey all

I need some help upgrading my 2002 WRX. First I wanna say I love the car, but I was thinking of upgrading it. Now I dont know that much about how to go about upgrading its performance. It has no upgrades atm except the 17"multi spoke wheels, spoiler, and ground effects all purchased when I first bought the car. I was wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how I could go about improving the performance of my car(dont really car to much about improving the looks of the car because I love it as is

). Also if there are any sites or books and such I could look up to learn more about my car and cars in general. Thanks for the time and please any advice is extremely welcome

Hi,
I bumped into this magazine today, Sport Compact Car. It has a Project WRX in where they rebuilt it bit by bit for top performance. You can also find it online at www.sportcompactcarweb.com
They are only in step one of the upgrades. They will continue every other issue or so on this so you will get hooked and have to subscribe.

many have walked this road before you...

I know this seems a bit of a rude answer...but you really need to decided where you want to take your car.

Here's what I'd do in order;

1. Fit a 3" turbo back exhaust.
2. Free up the intake system.
3. Increase boost.
4. Fit a better intercooler.
5. Increase boost.

when doing the turbo back don't forget the up-pipe in front that will give some good horsepower for the price IMO.
