FX spun a rod bearing but fixed it trackside. They missed the drag race portion so they pulled out of the competition as this took them out of contention for the overall.

Crawford didnt run the AX because it was raining during that event, effectively eliminating them from competition.

GST did really well

Harman Motive won Mod/Ltd (track record) and was 3rd fastest overall, beating many of the Unl cars (was not invited to participate in the Modified Shootout)

Not sure who won street, possibly Yimi I think?

Unfortunately, we had some rain to contend with early morning and afternoon. Harmon Killed it out there! I was 4 seconds behind JC, though my car has maybe 350whp and nowhere near the development Harmon has...nor am I the driver JC is. I did manage to win my class in the UMS Tuning Time Attack that was held, and was 2nd in TT.

Minus the weather, the track was decent most of the day and into the night. This event starts at 9am and runs until midnight! Lots of fun running under the lights. There was also a large "car show", with a huge awd turnout, exotics(including a veyron), DJ and gogo contest etc. Overall, there were 2300 people in attendance.

As for the Modified Time Attack portion of the shootout, Crawford and GST were 1 and 2. They had ridiculously fast times for this track. I believe Crawford broke a track record overall, but I need to check. Full-Race had an 08 sti out there that looked fast as well.

The Shootout results remain secret until the issue comes out.

Factor X noticed slightly lower oil pressure during the autocross. They tore down the motor and found rod bearings just about ready to go. They were hustling to get them swapped out in time to run just one pass during the drag race but just missed out. Since the DNF in the drag eliminated them from contention, they understandably skipped the Time Attack.

Crawford apparently has a company policy to not run the car in the rain. Seems a bit odd, but as it was explained to me, they have to appear in "X" number of events for Subaru and they cannot risk wadding up the car. It's kind of hard to do any serious damage to a car in auto-x, but that was their call.

With the surface dry, Crawford did indeed take the win in the TA portion of the event with GST a close second. GST looked to be faster, but with TA all you need is one fast lap and Crawford got just that. My team (Full-Race/YimiSport) finished a couple seconds behind in our full street car. As for the actual results in the TA and overall, you'll have to wait for the August issue of Modified magazine

I spoke with Mike Speck quite a bit and he said your car was a beast to drive. I had the Goodspeed wagon next to you guys. Looking forward to the issue, and look for my wagon in an earlier upcoming issue of Modified!
