ej22 how to port?
Hi people, I want to port my ej22 phase II on my 99 Obs. Can someone please explain me on detail how to port the camshaft? I have a phase I head gasket, can I use it? thanx a lot

If you do not know what to port then I would suggest that you consult an engine builder or head shop. Porting is the easiest thing to mess up and causes real porblems when done incorrectly. PM me off board and I can give you some people to contact.

I suggest you start reading books on the subject of engine building. The principles are universal and the information is priceless.

thanx ken, but I live in central america so contacting someone can be kinda hard
 the thing is, maybe we are talking about different things. prbably I didn't translate it right. How about polishing? how do you do that? thanx a lot |

By polish do you mean clean up the bearing surfaces to remove burs or scoring from them?

ok, les put it like this. Is there anything I can do to my heads or camshaft to make it faster without taking it to a shop?
