Default FS Nova 6 Speed swap. $3500

50K miles on all the parts from an 05 STI you get:

1) 6MT Transmission with shifter.
2) R180 rear diff with stock LSD.
3) 4 STI axles
4) STI Driveshaft.
5) All mounts needed to bolt this right in.

The 05 STI 6MT comes with a torsen helical LSD in the front diff and a clutch type LSD in the rear diff. So, for much less than the price of a PPG setup, you get stronger gears AND front and rear LSD's.

The price is firm. It's priced to move so, I can buy some more parts for my car. If it doesn't sell, well, it just means I have spares. I can deliver to Sterling/Leesburg/Frederick MD area. Or meet and transfer in those areas.

I also have a "Spiider" DCCD controller, It's not the latest but, it does have the STI thumbwheel. It gives you DCCD operation and has only 5-6 wires to hook up. Has a G sensor built in.

1 Power
2 Group
3-4 DCCD
5 TPS signal.

If you buy the swap, you can have it.

Just added today to sweeten the deal:

1) Nearly new WRX ACT HD clutch and PP. Was on my car 2-3 months and never drag raced.

2) Complete slave cylinder setup off a WRX. That's a Master Cylinder, Slave cylinder, hose and brackets.

3) If you have an automatic tranny, I'll even throw in a complete manual pedal assembly, brake, clutch AND gas pedal with gas cable.

So, if you have a push type clutch, Like Knighter, all you need to source is a throw out bearing and WRX flywheel

If the swap doesn't sell, I'll sell it to you. As it is, it's included with the swap.

Shifted smoother than my current 6 speed. It was just too much hassle to pull my current 6 speed and install this one.

Knighter, You have a push type clutch in the 06. That means you'll need a clutch and flywheel to make this happen. It also means that you're limited in the WRX transmissions you can use too. Most WRX's and all STI's use a pull type clutch. You can use either an STI or WRX pull type clutch with the swap.

I'll PM you my email.

Right now I have two interested party's nobody's finalized the deal yet though.

Yes, basically the 06-07 WRX gets the same clutch type as the NA's.

1) Axles are $1200, if you go that route

2) You could change the diff ratio in your R160 to match the R180

3) You could also simply get a set of new or used rear 04 STI hubs/brakes which are still 5x100 and bolt to your existing suspension.

You can use a WRX OR STI clutch and flywheel. When you switch to the 6MT, either one will work. Say, one of your boys has a used clutch and flywheel, that would work.

I'm not actually expecting to sell it to you at this point, I think the distance and cost is a problem for you. A PPG setup isn't going to be much cheaper though and you won't get the diffs or DCCD. Maybe you should go with a stock rebuild?

I've seen this setup (And I want his diff controller). I currently have Driveshaft Shop conversion axles on all 4 corners of my car. VERY tough axles... I recommend them.

If i DO find a set of rear 5x100 STI Hubs I'd probably sell my DSS axles... Or I'd love to just get a 5x114.3 hub swap over with by now

I'll sweeten this deal too.

So, for $3500 you'll get the swap listed above, the Spiider controller and:

1) Nearly new WRX ACT HD clutch and PP. Was on my car 2-3 months and never drag raced.

2) Complete slave cylinder setup off a WRX. That's a Master Cylinder, Slave cylinder, hose and brackets.

3) If you have an automatic tranny, I'll even throw in a complete manual pedal assembly, brake, clutch AND gas pedal with gas cable.

Very interested. What else would be needed to get this into an 06 wrx? Will the 04 sti axles work with the stock 06 brakes?

You'll need one of the three things I listed above. I'm pretty sure the front WRX axles will work though. The rears are always the sticking point.

You're just like Knighter though, you'll need to replace the clutch. Either with the parts I'm including or you own new clutch.
