Default Going for an 02-03 wrx swap...Buy a full Parts car or piece it together?

Just wondering if anyone could fill me in on how difficult/how much time it takes/price difference between buying a whole parts car and just compiling everything... Im going full conversion so dash/drivetrain/full suspension etc etc...

Thanks!

buy a car. piecing together sucks.

I just put a 04 wrx engine into my 96 legacy. I pieced it all together from the crank to the power steering bracket. Its a nightmare if you are on a deadline. If you have all the time in the world, then maybe.

doh wrong sn. this is turbol

full parts car ftw! cheaper overall too. as long as you have a space for the parts car of course. and wouldnt it take longer to try to piece everything? including bargaining with the seller, waiting for shipping. you'll also get a risk of dealing with bad sellers too. so i'd say go with a parts car!!!!!!

A parts car makes the most sense to me too. Just wanted to make sure... Should I try to find one on here? they're rarely on craigslist.. or should I try to talk to some local people and find a connection there somehow?
