Default Can a boost leak cause a knock?

Can a boost leak cause a knock, im talking post turbo. If the car is tapering boost by 2psi ish too much will that cause a knock. I had a boost leak for a bit and just found it. Just wondering cause if it can then maybe I have more room for tuning. If no then I guess my car is just running at its best and I should be pleased. Its fast now but maybe theres a bit more there you know.

Assuming you're running the MAF sensor in the stock location (upstream of the leak), then leaking air post-turbo will cause the car to run rich, which will cost you some power.

Unless you were tuned with the leak, in which case fixing the leak will cause the can to run leaner than it was tuned for. That could be bad.

You'd need a WBO2 to know for sure what's going on. Got one?

yes my lc-1 and logging it the wideband looks fine. not running any leaner after fixing the issue. im sure it was affecting the tune at some point but doesnt seem to be affecting it after fixing it. strange.
