Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought PPG's only came in a 1-4 using stock fifth as the norm.

I don't have proof that they are ppg gears unless on the gears themself have special markings...I can install them in a car and do a bunch of powershifts as proof...LOL... And for neversummer go fall in a ditch...is it a joy to call peoples ppg's fake and a scam to run off buyers so you can lowball the person???...seems like everybody selling ppg's have this problem...if you can't provide info on where to find any special markings or bids gtfo and go troll somewhere else!!!

PPG's can be bought in different combos...1-5, 1-2, 1-3, 2-4...it's whatever you want...they also can be bought in different types like 1-3 straight cut dog engagement with 4-5 helical syncro, dogbox type 1-5 straight cut dog engagement....whatever you want they can do

looking at ppg's website the only way to get the helical synchro gears is 1-4, only straight cuts come in 1-5. also the synchro helical cut gears look like the more aggressive one that g-pimpin posted. Im not saying yo are trying to scam anyone because if you were then you wouldnt have posted pics of the inside of the trans but i think yo may have gotten ripped off. what i think you may have gotten is an ra gearset if not stock gears but they definitely do not look like ppg gears.

You know what I never thought about RA gears...good call on that he may have bought them and thought they were PPG's...I'll do some research on that...so as of now the gearset is no longer for sale

The difference between dogbox engagement and syncro engagement is not the gears.

the gears in your transmission are not PPG

and call andrewtech and ask if you can get 1-3 straght cut dog and see if works

you have been ripped off if you bought "ppg"
