Question Pulley's + Flywheel not good?

I'v heard that if you have either the lightweight flywheel or pulleys, to not get the other lightweight component because it can stall out your engine due to lack of rotational mass.

Is this true, and is there anyone out there who has both and is doing fine?

you should be able to run lightened pulleys just fine with a slightly heavier lightweight flywheel, such as the JUN or exedy (~12lbs). however, something that's REALLY light like the fidanza (9lbs) will cause driveability problems.

I thought the only problems occuring were with the underdrive pulleys and lightened flywheels.. Underdrive pulleys meaning they are smaller in diameter than the stock pulleys. You can get lightened pulleys, and still the same size diameter as stock and be problem free. This is just what I think, I don't know if it's true.

in all honesty, i would just go with the lightest flywheel i possibly could, and just run the OEM pulleys...

my lightened ones have started causing problems since i've been running my a/c again:

i don't know if 2.5L's will develop this problem over time, or if it's just due to my smaller displacement.

hmmm, hopefully there wont be the same problem. The only thing with getting a flywheel is that the process of installing is ALOT more involved.

I am running a 13lb Exedy flywheel plus a 1.2lb N1 crank pulley with no problems, and I have a 1st gear 15% taller than stock...
