Cool Quick Hybrid Valve Lash Question

I dropped my heads off this morning at the machine shop so they can be shaved, cleaned, and have the valve lash checked/adjusted.

My question is, what should the valve lash be? The machine shop does not know what the tolerances should be for a hybrid build.

I'm running STI cams in 2004 WRX heads mated to a brand new EJ257 SB from Subaru with OEM STI headgaskets. The buckets are shimless.

TIA,

-Andrew

factory spec I believe is .008 intake and .013 exhaust. I run .008 in/.010 ex on my upgraded valvetrain/cams.

the fact that it is a hybrid should not have a large effect on valve lash I wouldn't think. the heads are the same regardless of what you bolt them to.

be careful that you don't remove too much material off the cylinder head. if you're just taking off a couple thousandths it shouldn't be a problem.
