That's a private car. Lots of people put the badges or police hats up on the dash. Why? I don't know, but I've seen it before several times. An undercover car will likely never have an markings like dealer stickers, plate frames, etc. as the goal is to make them as invisible and unrecognizeable as possible. Just my thoughts. This guy is likely a retired officer who has some amount of pride for his former profession. Why would an undercover cop car have random, multiple badges on a dashmat in the car? Maybe this is his strategy to get out of tickets. Those could also be patches from some military detachment. Look at all the pins (what appears to be pins) next to them. Also, why would an officer have a crappy Garmin-style GPS unit mounted up? Have you seen how big the computers they put in cop cars are?

There are a lot of undercover cars in this city though.

Question

Even if it was, rather than crapping up the SWIC index, find a whore thread and post it up there! :cough cough: San Tan :cough cough: That's the thread I go to when some random thought crosses my mind. It's sort of like the OT of the SWIC (well that and the Weekly Westside Meet thread). Also, when are you going to start coming to the San Tan meets?

Also, there are a ton of unmarked cars around here. I've seen a civic, several mustangs, and recently a brand new white G6 GXP with lights in the grill. I think most of them are confiscation vehicles.
